There are numerous fully funded scholarships in UK, especially MBA scholarships UK, and here comes another awesome opportunity for students from all over the world to be a part of Swansea by Skytree.
Skytree is a branch of the European Space Agency Human Spaceflight Programme and a reputable leader in Direct Air Capture (DAC) of carbon dioxide.
And just a reminder, we were recently inducted to be part of the top 100 Most Innovative Companies in the Netherlands and we are also applying our technology to redefine the carbon ecosystem globally.
While in terms of the team, we are based in Netherland’s Science Park in the form of a team of scientists, designers, engineers, and business developers who work relentlessly on creating better air for a viable future and also on closing the carbon loop.
As part of our ongoing projects, we are offering a fully funded UK scholarship which will be critical for establishing connections between intrinsic material properties as well as the system-level performance of CO2 capture sorbents.
CO2 capture technologies are crucial in the security and preservation of our environment and our daily lives and also help in decarbonization.
And if you don’t already know, the use of sorbents gives the chance to control both capture and release of CO2 for numerous use across multiple sectors, above all, sectors in the energy and industrial manufacturing.
The technique I’d reliable for capture through the adsorption of CO2 onto porous solids whilst desorption enables the use of the CO2 for other applications.
The goal of the project through this fully funded UK scholarship is to understand the degradation and performance of materials for CO2 capture as time goes by.
Also, it includes the understanding of the absorption and desorption mechanisms of different sorbent materials which are categorized under diverse environmental conditions so as to identify critical factors affecting their overall long-term performance.
Multiple chemicals, physical, and mechanical characterization techniques may be utilized to correlate CO2 capture to chemical or physical changes in the materials. This vital information will flow directly into the optimization of our truth worthy products.
Additionally, the project will be carried out in the state-of-the-art research facilities of the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Swansea University, UK.
We look forward through our UK scholarship offer and fully funded UK scholarship to having enthusiastic optimistic, and creative students joining us with the interest to visit Skytree in Amsterdam to meet with the team and be given the opportunity to implement their insights to in-house testing and simulation work.
Start date: October
Expected interview date: June
